The Thought Process of the Average NFL Fan

It goes something like this: "If there's a penalty called against my team, regardless of what it is or how blatant it was, I shall boo. I will refuse to acknowledge that the call was just and necessary to maintain order in the game. However, if the exact same penalty were to be called on the opposing team for the exact same infraction, I would cheer and be in full agreement with the officials and wonder why the other fans are booing."
